Whether you are working on the cozy Towline Hat or another project with knitted cables, you'll find this tutorial for working cable stitches without a cable needle helpful.
Kate Larson1 min read

I've been working on my own Towline Hat by Kerry Bullock-Ozkan using a Tunis and Shetland blend. Since I was anxious to start knitting, I grabbed some worsted-weight yarn that was left over from a cabled sweater project.
When knitting cable patterns, I almost always work without a cable needle. I find that it goes faster, and I think my work looks more consistent. Try it both ways and see what you think!
Happy knitting! — Kate
